1. What’s Included
9 nights accommodation at exclusive private properties in Antigua and Lake Atitlán (maximum 9 guests)
Either a private room (one bed) or shared double room (two beds)
Shared double room option available with a $250 discount
Private group van transfers (only for scheduled group transfer times)
Guatemala City Airport → Antigua
Antigua → Lake Atitlán
Lake Atitlán → Guatemala City Airport
Daily yoga sessions (always optional, all levels welcome)
All breakfasts included
All dinners included
Some lunches included (no lunch included on excursion or travel days)
Four excursions and experiences
Optional watercolour painting sessions on Thursday and Friday (included)
2. What’s Not Included
International airfare to and from Guatemala City International Airport (GUA)
Travel medical insurance (required)
Trip cancellation/interruption insurance (recommended)
Some lunches (on all excursion and travel days)
Personal expenses (shopping, souvenirs, snacks, extra beverages)
Extra activities or excursions not listed as included
Optional gratuities for drivers, guides, or local staff
Airport transfers outside scheduled group transfer times
3. Travel & Medical Insurance (Required)
All participants are required to carry valid travel medical insurance for the duration of the retreat (February 18–27, 2027).
Insurance coverage must include:
Emergency medical care
Hospitalization
Emergency medical evacuation
Participants are encouraged to also purchase insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage, but it is not required.
4. Payment Schedule
Total Retreat Price: $2,995 Cdn for single room, $2745 shared room (2 beds)
$1,500 deposit due at time of registration
$750 of this deposit is non-refundable
Remaining balance of $1,495 due by November 18, 2026 (90 days prior to retreat start)
Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of your space with no refund.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Due to advance commitments for accommodations, transportation, and local services, the following cancellation policy applies:
$750 of the deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances
Cancellations made on or before November 18, 2026 may receive a refund of payments made minus the $750 non-refundable portion
Cancellations made after November 18, 2026 are non-refundable
No refunds will be issued for late arrival, early departure, or unused portions of the retreat
Registration may be transferred to another participant (subject to approval) up to 30 days prior to departure
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage.
6. Participant Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
Participants acknowledge that this retreat involves physical activity, outdoor excursions, boat travel, and international travel, all of which carry inherent risks. By registering, participants voluntarily assume full responsibility for their health, safety, and well-being during the retreat.
Yoga sessions are offered for general wellness and are not a substitute for medical care. Participants agree to practice within their own limits.
7. Medical Care & Emergencies
In the event of illness or injury, participants authorize the retreat organizer to seek emergency medical treatment on their behalf if necessary. Participants accept full financial responsibility for any medical care received.
8. Release of Liability
Participants agree to release and hold harmless the retreat organizer from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the retreat.
A signed Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Waiver is required prior to participation.
9. Force Majeure
The retreat organizer is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, political conditions, or illness.
10. Agreement
By registering for the retreat, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
